Join us for Lobby Day!

We are excited to share an important event with you that is coming up on April 10 – Lobby Day at the Ohio State House!

What is Lobby Day?

Lobby Day is a crucial opportunity for advocates like yourself to come together and make our voices heard by meeting with legislators and policymakers. It's a day when we collectively advocate for the licensing of midwives, a cause that is close to our hearts. If you're not familiar with the concept, Lobby Day is a chance to engage with elected officials, share personal stories, and express support for legislation that impacts our community.

Why Midwifery Licensing Matters:

Midwives play a vital role in providing personalized, compassionate care to expectant mothers. Licensing midwives ensures that they meet specific standards and qualifications, promoting safe and high-quality care for both mothers and babies. Your support can make a significant difference in advancing this cause and ensuring access to skilled midwifery care for all.

Join Us in Columbus on April 10:

We invite you to join us for Midwifery Licensing Lobby Day on April 10 in Columbus. We will be meeting in the Ladies Gallery (directly across from the Families Committee Room). This is a unique opportunity to connect with other supporters, share your passion for midwifery, and directly engage with lawmakers to advocate for the licensing of midwives in Ohio.
